Rick Steves’ Andalus tour

Rick Steves is a tour guide who’s been doing TV shows for a few decades on PBS. He has one 25 minute show, “Granada, Cordoba, and Spain’s Costa del Sol.” He shows the interior and grounds of the Alhambra a lot, and you learn cool stuff about it (e.g. “God is glorious” is carved into the palace 9,000 times). He shows the inside of the mosque in Cordoba too that’s now a cathedral. He talks about the Reconquista a lot too. He talks about today’s Muslim community a little.

The UN Human Rights Office reports that Iranian security forces are engaging protestors with live ammunition.

Amnesty International has verified that at least 106 protestors have been killed by Iranian security forces and Revolutionary Guard due to protests over fuel tax hikes. The real death toll is estimated to be around 200, and over a thousand protestors have been arrested.

All internet access in Iran has been shut down, and while the government claims the unrest has halted, leaked footage reveals that riots still rage in Iran.
